  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 28 oz Canned Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 4 oz Feta Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata Olives
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened.
  2. 2Add garlic, red bell pepper, chili flakes, cumin, and paprika. Cook for 2 minutes.
  3. 3Pour in crushed tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  4. 4Create 4 wells in the tomato sauce and crack an egg into each well.
  5. 5Cover the skillet and cook until the eggs are set to your liking.
  6. 6Crumble feta cheese and olives over the shakshuka. Garnish with fresh parsley.
