Ingredients

  • 1 lb Beef sirloin
  • 2 tbsp Fermented black beans (rinsed)
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 1 cup Bell pepper (red/green)
  • 1/2 cup Onion
  • 2 tbsp Coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp Rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup Beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Tapioca starch
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1Slice beef into thin strips.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix beef with coconut aminos, rice wine vinegar, and tapioca starch.
  3. 3Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. 4Stir-fry beef until browned. Set aside.
  5. 5Add garlic, ginger, bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Stir-fry until tender-crisp.
  6. 6Add fermented black beans and beef broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  7. 7Add beef back to the skillet and stir to coat.
  8. 8Cook until sauce thickens.
  9. 9Serve hot with rice.
