Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground pork
  • 1/2 cup Carrot, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 30-40 pieces Lumpia wrappers (egg-free)
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the ground pork, carrot, onion, garlic, soy sauce, pepper, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2Place a small amount of the filling (about 1-2 tablespoons) onto a lumpia wrapper.
  3. 3Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling, then roll tightly from the bottom up.
  4. 4Seal the edge of the wrapper with a little water.
  5. 5Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan or wok over medium heat.
  6. 6Fry the lumpia until golden brown and crispy on all sides (about 3-4 minutes).
  7. 7Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
