  • 1 9-inch Gluten-Free Pie Crust
  • 1 bunch Swiss Chard
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 0.5 medium Onion
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 6 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Gruyere Cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2Blind bake the gluten-free pie crust for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
  3. 3Wash and chop the Swiss chard, removing the tough stems.
  4. 4Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Add the Swiss chard to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  6. 6In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, Gruyere cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  7. 7Pour the Swiss chard mixture into the pre-baked pie crust.
  8. 8Pour the egg mixture over the Swiss chard.
  9. 9Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown.
