Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 0.75 cup Water
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine the 2 cups of all-purpose flour and the 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
  2. 2Gradually add the 0.75 cup of water to the flour and salt mixture, stirring until a shaggy dough begins to form.
  3. 3Turn the dough out onto a clean surface and knead for 5-7 minutes, pressing and folding the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  4. 4On a lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll out the dough thinly, aiming for an even thickness.
  5. 5Cut the rolled-out dough into your desired noodle shapes, such as 1-inch squares, diamonds, or thin strips.
  6. 6Fill a large heavy-bottomed pot with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring it to a rolling boil over high heat, about 5-7 minutes, until large bubbles rapidly break the surface.
  7. 7Carefully add the cut noodles to the large heavy-bottomed pot of boiling water and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the noodles float to the surface and appear tender.
  8. 8Drain the cooked noodles using a colander and serve immediately with your favorite dairy-free toppings.
