Ingredients

  • 1 lb Kielbasa sausage
  • 2 medium Apples
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the 1 lb kielbasa sausage into 1-inch pieces. Core the 2 medium apples and chop them into 1-inch chunks, similar in size to the kielbasa pieces.
  2. 2Thread the kielbasa pieces and apple chunks onto skewers, alternating between the sausage and the apples.
  3. 3In a small bowl, whisk together the 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard until well combined.
  4. 4Heat a grill or a large skillet over medium heat (approximately 350°F or 175°C).
  5. 5Brush the skewers evenly with the maple mustard mixture. Place the skewers onto the heated grill or into the skillet.
  6. 6Grill or pan-fry the skewers for 10 to 12 minutes. Turn the skewers occasionally. The skewers are done when the kielbasa is heated through and has light brown marks, and the apple pieces are tender when pierced with a fork.
