Ingredients

  • 2 cans Black beans
  • 1 cup Cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 medium Onion
  • 1/2 medium Red bell pepper
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs (dairy-free & egg-free)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 servings Buns (dairy-free & egg-free)

Instructions

  1. 1Drain and rinse black beans. Mash one can of black beans with a fork or potato masher.
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine mashed black beans, whole black beans, cooked brown rice, chopped onion, chopped red bell pepper, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, and breadcrumbs.
  3. 3Mix well until combined. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
