Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice
  • 8 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Cooked chicken
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 2 Green onions
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro
  • 2 tbsp Shellfish-free soy sauce
  • 0.25 tsp White pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Rinse rice and place in a pot with chicken broth and ginger.
  2. 2Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 1 hour, or until the rice breaks down and the mixture thickens.
  3. 3Stir in shredded chicken and cook for another 5 minutes.
  4. 4Serve hot, garnished with green onions, cilantro, and a dash of shellfish-free soy sauce and white pepper.
