Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sweet Rice
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Dried Beef Flakes

Instructions

  1. 1In a pot, combine sweet rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is soft and the mixture has thickened.
  2. 2Stir in cocoa powder and sugar. Cook for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the cocoa powder is fully dissolved and the sugar is melted.
  3. 3Stir in milk. Heat through.
  4. 4Serve champorado hot, topped with dried beef flakes.
