Ingredients

  • 6 cups Vegetable broth
  • 1 pound White fish fillets (optional)
  • 1 cup Pineapple
  • 2 medium Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Bean sprouts
  • 0.5 cup Okra
  • 2 tablespoons Tamarind paste
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 0.25 cup Thai basil
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare the broth: In a large pot, bring vegetable broth to a boil.
  2. 2Add tamarind paste, soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic. Stir well.
  3. 3Add pineapple, tomatoes, bean sprouts, and okra to the broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4Add white fish fillets (if using) and cook until cooked through.
  5. 5Garnish with Thai basil and cilantro.
  6. 6Serve hot.
