Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Squid (cleaned)
  • 1/4 cup Tamari
  • 1/4 cup White vinegar
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 2 leaves Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp Black peppercorns
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil

Instructions

  1. 1Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. 2Sauté garlic until golden brown.
  3. 3Add squid and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. 4Pour in tamari, white vinegar, and water. Add bay leaves and black peppercorns.
  5. 5Bring to a simmer and cook for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced and the squid is cooked through.
