  • 1 can Plant-based 'spam'
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 4 sheets Nori seaweed sheets

Instructions

  1. 1Prepare the sauce: In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, sugar, and mirin. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  2. 2Slice the plant-based 'spam' into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  3. 3Fry the slices in the sauce until lightly browned on both sides.
  4. 4Place a sheet of nori on a flat surface. Using a musubi mold or your hands, form a block of rice.
  5. 5Top the rice with a slice of the 'spam'.
  6. 6Wrap the nori around the rice and spam to secure.
