Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cooked Sushi Rice
  • 1 can Soy-Free Spam (or Homemade)
  • 6 sheets Nori Seaweed Sheets
  • 2 tbsp Furikake Rice Seasoning (Soy-Free)
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Aminos

Instructions

  1. 1If using store bought spam, ensure it is soy free. Slice soy free spam into 6 even slices. Fry in a pan until lightly browned and crispy.
  2. 2Mix coconut aminos into cooked rice and season with soy free furikake.
  3. 3Place a nori sheet on a flat surface. Using a musubi mold or your hands, press a layer of seasoned rice onto the nori sheet.
  4. 4Place a slice of fried soy free spam on top of the rice.
  5. 5Top the spam with another layer of rice. Press down firmly to create a compact musubi.
  6. 6Wrap the nori sheet around the musubi and secure it with a small dab of water, if necessary.
  7. 7Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
