Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken breast
  • 1 cup Dairy-Free Yogurt (Coconut or Almond)
  • 2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro leaves
  • 1 small Green chilies
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the chicken breast into 1-inch cubes.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix together the dairy-free yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, garam masala, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Add the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours) in the refrigerator.
  3. 3While the chicken is marinating, prepare the chutney by blending mint leaves, cilantro leaves, green chilies, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor until smooth.
  4. 4Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. 5Grill the skewers over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. 6Serve hot with mint-cilantro chutney.
