Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 3/4 cups Dairy-Free Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Dairy-Free Butter, melted

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, combine dairy-free milk and lemon juice. Let it sit for a minute to curdle slightly.
  4. 4Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. 5Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently shape into a round loaf.
  6. 6Place loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cut a cross into the top of the loaf.
  7. 7Brush with melted dairy-free butter.
  8. 8Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
