Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 2.25 tsp Instant Yeast
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1.5 cups Water
  • 0.5 cup Baking Soda
  • 6 cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Coarse Sea Salt
  • 0.5 cup Yellow Mustard
  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Honey

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Add warm water and mix until a dough forms.
  2. 2Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  3. 3Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. 4Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C).
  5. 5In a large pot, bring 6 cups of water and baking soda to a boil.
  6. 6Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a thin rope. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  7. 7Drop the pretzel bites into the boiling water for 30 seconds.
  8. 8Remove the bites and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. 9Sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
  10. 10Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. 11For the mustard dip: Combine yellow mustard, apple cider vinegar, and honey in a small bowl. Mix well.
  12. 12Serve pretzel bites warm with mustard dip.
