Ingredients

  • 2 cups Shredded Coconut (unsweetened)
  • 1 can Condensed Coconut Milk
  • 2 tbsp Vegan Butter
  • 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 12 Whole Cloves

Instructions

  1. 1In a saucepan, combine shredded coconut, condensed coconut milk, vegan butter, and sugar.
  2. 2Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan (about 10-12 minutes).
  3. 3Let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. 4Roll the mixture into small balls.
  5. 5Roll each ball in additional shredded coconut.
  6. 6Place a whole clove on top of each beijinho (optional).
  7. 7Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up. Serve chilled.
