Ingredients

  • about 680 g White fish fillets (e.g., tilapia, cod)
  • 3 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Coriander
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

Original measure retained: its cup/spoon or fluid-volume standard is unspecified.

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to about 205°C (200°C).
  2. 2In a small bowl, combine the 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh cilantro, 1 teaspoon of cumin, 1 teaspoon of coriander, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Stir everything together until it forms a well-mixed marinade.
  3. 3Place the about 680 g of white fish fillets into a baking dish. Pour the marinade evenly over the fish fillets, making sure each piece is coated.
  4. 4Place the baking dish with the fish into the preheated oven. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. The fish is done when it is opaque and flakes easily when gently pressed with a fork. For precise cooking, the internal temperature should reach 63°C.
  5. 5Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven. Let the fish rest in the dish for 2-3 minutes before serving.
  6. 6Serve the baked fish hot.
