Ingredients

  • 2 cups Whole wheat flour
  • 2 cups Boiled potatoes
  • 1-2 Green chilies
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 tbsp Oil (vegetable or canola)

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, green chilies, ginger, cilantro, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2Knead the whole wheat flour with water to form a soft dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  3. 3Divide the dough into equal portions. Roll out each portion into a small circle.
  4. 4Place a spoonful of potato mixture in the center of each circle.
  5. 5Bring the edges of the circle together to seal the filling inside. Gently flatten the filled dough ball.
  6. 6Roll out the filled dough ball into a flat paratha.
  7. 7Heat a griddle or pan over medium heat. Cook the paratha on both sides, applying oil until golden brown and cooked through.
