Ingredients

  • 2 cups Roasted Peanuts
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 0.25 cup Water
  • 0.25 cup Corn Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 0.5 tsp Baking Soda

Instructions

  1. 1Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup.
  3. 3Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil.
  4. 4Continue cooking without stirring, until the mixture turns a golden amber color. Use a candy thermometer to reach 300°F (150°C).
  5. 5Remove from heat and quickly stir in roasted peanuts, vegetable oil, sesame seeds, and baking soda.
  6. 6Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly with a spatula.
  7. 7Let it cool completely before breaking into pieces.
  8. 8Store in an airtight container.
