Ingredients

  • 1 lb Egg-free Noodles (rice or wheat)
  • 1 lb Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet Soy Sauce (Kecap Manis)
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 medium Shallots, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Paste (Sambal Oelek)
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, julienned
  • 2 stalks Green Onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. 1Cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. 3Add garlic and shallots and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. 4Add shrimp and cook until pink and cooked through.
  5. 5Stir in cabbage and carrots and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. 6Add cooked noodles, soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, and chili paste. Mix well to combine.
  7. 7Cook, stirring frequently, until heated through and the noodles are slightly crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
