Ingredients

  • 2 medium Sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1-2 teaspoons Harissa paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2In a large bowl, combine the 2 medium sweet potatoes (which are already peeled and cut into fries), 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 to 2 teaspoons of harissa paste, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Toss all of these ingredients together until the sweet potato fries are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  3. 3Spread the coated sweet potato fries in a single layer onto a baking sheet. Arrange them so they are not overlapping, which will help them become crispy during baking.
  4. 4Bake the fries in the preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 to 25 minutes. After 10 to 12 minutes (halfway through the baking time), carefully flip the fries over using a spatula. Continue baking until they are golden brown and appear crispy.
  5. 5Remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the fries immediately.
