Ingredients

  • 8 oz Halloumi cheese, cut into cubes
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your grill to medium heat, which is about 350-400°F (175-200°C).
  2. 2Thread the 8 oz of Halloumi cheese cubes onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes beforehand to prevent burning.
  3. 3Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Brush the halloumi cubes evenly with the 1 tbsp of Olive oil.
  4. 4Grill the halloumi for 3-4 minutes per side. You are looking for the cubes to be golden brown and slightly softened. This should take a total of 6-8 minutes.
  5. 5Remove the skewers from the grill. Immediately drizzle the grilled halloumi with the 2 tbsp of Lemon juice.
  6. 6Sprinkle the halloumi evenly with the 1 tsp of Dried oregano and the 1/4 tsp of Black pepper.
