Ingredients

  • 4 Frikandel sausage (ensure soy-free)
  • 3 cups Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise (ensure soy-free)
  • 0.5 cup Curry ketchup (ensure soy-free)
  • 0.5 Onion, diced

Instructions

  1. 1Pour the 3 cups of vegetable oil into a deep fryer or large pot. Heat the oil until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2Carefully place the 4 frikandel sausages into the hot oil. Fry the sausages for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown and appear cooked through. The internal temperature should reach at least 160°F (71°C).
  3. 3Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the cooked frikandel sausages from the hot oil. Place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  4. 4While the sausages are draining, prepare the toppings. Place the 0.5 cup of mayonnaise, 0.5 cup of curry ketchup, and the diced 0.5 onion into separate small bowls for serving.
  5. 5Serve the hot frikandel sausages immediately with the prepared mayonnaise, curry ketchup, and diced onion on the side.
