Ingredients

  • about 450 g Wild boar meat
  • 2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 0.5 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Rice flour
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro

Original measure retained: its cup/spoon or fluid-volume standard is unspecified.

Instructions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the about 450 g wild boar meat with 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 0.5 tsp garam masala, and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix thoroughly to ensure the meat is evenly coated. Let this mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2Add 2 tbsp rice flour to the marinated wild boar meat and toss until each piece is lightly coated.
  3. 3Heat 1 cup vegetable oil in a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 175°C.
  4. 4Carefully add the coated wild boar meat to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for 5-7 minutes per batch, or until the meat is golden brown and crispy on all sides. The internal temperature should reach 71°C.
  5. 5Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried wild boar meat from the pot and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  6. 6Transfer the fried wild boar to a serving dish. Garnish with 2 tbsp cilantro and serve hot.
