Ingredients

  • 4 6oz Venison steaks
  • 1 large head Cauliflower
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Butter (dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup Almond milk
  • 0.75 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 sprig Rosemary

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. 2Cut cauliflower into florets and toss with 1 tablespoon olive oil, smoked paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until tender.
  4. 4While cauliflower is roasting, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. 5Season venison steaks with salt, pepper and rosemary.
  6. 6Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  7. 7In a food processor or blender, combine roasted cauliflower, dairy-free butter, and almond milk.
  8. 8Blend until smooth and creamy.
  9. 9Serve venison steaks over smoked paprika cauliflower mash.
