  • 1 lb Korean Rice Cakes (Tteok)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
  • 1 tablespoon Gochugaru (Korean Chili Flakes)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 stalks Scallions
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1In a pot, combine vegetable broth, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar, and minced garlic.
  2. 2Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. 3Add the rice cakes to the sauce and cook until they are soft and chewy, about 8-10 minutes.
