Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Vegan Butter, Melted
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 cup Plant-Based Milk
  • 4 oz Seaweed Caviar Substitute

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, whisk together the 1 cup All-Purpose Flour, 1 tablespoon Sugar, 0.5 teaspoon Salt, and 1 teaspoon Baking Powder until well combined.
  2. 2Add the 2 tablespoons Melted Vegan Butter and 1 cup Plant-Based Milk to the dry ingredients. Mix with a whisk or fork until you have a smooth batter with no lumps.
  3. 3Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium heat. The pan is ready when a drop of water sizzles and evaporates quickly.
  4. 4Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the hot pan for each blini. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes on the first side, until small bubbles appear on the surface and the edges look set.
  5. 5Carefully flip each blini using a spatula. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes on the second side, until both sides are golden brown and the blini is cooked through.
  6. 6Serve the warm blini immediately with the 4 oz Seaweed Caviar Substitute on the side.
