Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg Potatoes
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 1 can Vegan Anchovies(replaces Anchovies)
  • 2 cups Plant-Based Milk(replaces Cream)
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2Peel the 1.5 kg potatoes and slice them thinly. Peel the 2 medium onions and slice them thinly.
  3. 3Drain the can of vegan anchovies and chop them into smaller pieces.
  4. 4In a greased baking dish, create layers by placing one-third of the sliced potatoes, then one-third of the sliced onions, and then one-third of the chopped vegan anchovies. Sprinkle half of the 1 teaspoon salt and half of the 1/2 teaspoon black pepper over this layer. Repeat these layers two more times, ensuring each layer is seasoned.
  5. 5Pour the 2 cups of plant-based milk evenly over the entire dish.
  6. 6Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the dish.
  7. 7Drizzle the 3 tablespoons of olive oil over the breadcrumbs.
  8. 8Bake for 50 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork and the breadcrumb topping is golden brown.
