Ingredients

  • 2 cups Semolina Flour
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 0.5 for greasing and layering Olive Oil
  • 0.25 for layering Melted Butter

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine semolina flour, all-purpose flour, and salt.
  2. 2Gradually add warm water, mixing until a smooth and elastic dough forms.
  3. 3Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4Divide the dough into 6 equal balls.
  5. 5Grease a flat surface with olive oil. Flatten one dough ball into a very thin rectangle.
  6. 6Brush the rectangle with melted butter and olive oil. Fold one side to the middle, then fold the other side over it.
  7. 7Brush again with butter and oil, then fold the top and bottom to form a square.
  8. 8Repeat with the remaining dough balls.
  9. 9Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet over medium heat. Cook each msemen for 4-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. 10Serve warm with honey, jam, or alongside savory dishes.
