Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Swiss chard
  • 0.5 medium Onion
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp Water
  • 0.5 cup Milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.25 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Wash and chop the swiss chard. Chop the onion.
  2. 2In a bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Add the milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.
  4. 4Add the swiss chard and cook until wilted and tender.
  5. 5Pour the cornstarch mixture over the swiss chard and onion. Stir to combine.
  6. 6Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and set. Be careful when flipping.
  7. 7Serve warm or at room temperature, cut into wedges.
