Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Baguette
  • 3 medium Ripe Tomatoes
  • 0.25 cup Fresh Basil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Balsamic Glaze
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  2. 2Brush each slice with olive oil and toast in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  3. 3While the bread is toasting, dice the tomatoes and chop the basil.
  4. 4Mince the garlic and combine it with the tomatoes, basil, olive oil, balsamic glaze, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5Spoon the tomato mixture onto the toasted baguette slices and serve immediately.
