Ingredients

  • 1 block Firm tofu, pressed
  • 1/2 cup Plain soy yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 medium Bell peppers, cubed
  • 1 medium Onions, cubed
  • 8 Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.
  2. 2In a bowl, mix together soy yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt to create the marinade.
  3. 3Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and mix gently to ensure they are well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours) in the refrigerator.
  4. 4Thread the marinated tofu cubes, bell peppers, and onions onto the wooden skewers.
  5. 5Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium heat.
  6. 6Grill the tofu tikka skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is lightly charred and the vegetables are tender.
  7. 7Serve hot with mint-cilantro chutney.
