Ingredients

  • 4 large Eggs
  • 0.5 cup Shrimp
  • 0.25 small Onion
  • 1 small Green chilies
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 0.25 tsp White pepper
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, crack the 4 large Eggs. Add the 1 tbsp soy sauce and 0.25 tsp white pepper. Whisk everything together until well combined.
  2. 2Finely chop the 0.25 small onion. Finely chop the 1 small green chili. Add the chopped onion, chopped green chili, and the 0.5 cup shrimp to the bowl with the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  3. 3Place a 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium heat, which is 350°F (175°C). Add the 1 tbsp vegetable oil to the skillet and let it heat up for about 30 seconds until it shimmers.
  4. 4Pour the egg mixture from the bowl into the hot skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes, or until the edges of the omelette look set and the center is still slightly runny.
  5. 5Carefully slide a spatula under the omelette. Flip the omelette over. Cook for another 1 minute, or until the second side is golden brown and cooked through. The shrimp should be pink and opaque.
  6. 6Slide the finished omelette onto a plate. Serve immediately.
