Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Japanese Rice
  • 2 large Fresh Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Soy Sauce (low sodium)
  • 2 tablespoons Furikake (Sesame-based, nut-free)
  • 1 tablespoon Optional: Green Onions, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. 1Ensure you have 2 cups of warm cooked Japanese Rice ready. Place this 2 cups of warm cooked Japanese Rice into a serving bowl.
  2. 2Gently make a small well or indentation in the center of the 2 cups of warm cooked Japanese Rice.
  3. 3Carefully crack 1 large fresh egg into the indentation you made in the rice. Repeat this with the second large fresh egg, cracking it into the same indentation.
  4. 4Drizzle the 2 teaspoons of soy sauce (low sodium) evenly over the raw egg(s) and the rice.
  5. 5Generously sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of furikake (sesame-based, nut-free) over the top of the rice and egg.
  6. 6If using, scatter the 1 tablespoon of optional green onions, thinly sliced, over everything.
  7. 7Using a spoon or chopsticks, gently mix the raw egg, soy sauce, furikake, and rice together until well combined. Serve immediately.
