Ingredients

  • 8 wafel Stroopwafels
  • 500 ml Dairy-free Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 50 ml Dairy-free Caramel Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1Place the 500 ml of dairy-free vanilla ice cream in a bowl and let it sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes, or until it is slightly softened and easy to scoop. This makes it easier to spread.
  2. 2Take one of the 8 stroopwafels and place it flat on a plate. Scoop a generous amount of the softened dairy-free vanilla ice cream onto the stroopwafel, spreading it evenly to the edges.
  3. 3Place a second stroopwafel on top of the ice cream to create a sandwich. Gently press down so the ice cream spreads slightly to the edges.
  4. 4Repeat steps 2 and 3 with the remaining stroopwafels and ice cream until you have 4 ice cream sandwiches.
  5. 5If you are using the 50 ml of dairy-free caramel sauce, carefully drizzle it over the top of each stroopwafel ice cream sandwich. This step is optional.
  6. 6Serve the stroopwafel ice cream sandwiches immediately for a soft, melty treat, or place them on a baking sheet and put them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to firm up for a harder, icier texture.
