String Hopper (Soy-Free)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Rice Flour
  • 2 cups Hot Water
  • 0.5 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, add the rice flour and salt.
  2. 2Gradually pour in the hot water while mixing with a wooden spoon or spatula until a smooth dough forms.
  3. 3Knead the dough for a few minutes until it is pliable.
  4. 4Place the dough into a string hopper press.
  5. 5Press the dough onto string hopper mats or small woven baskets.
  6. 6Steam the string hoppers for 8-10 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. 7Serve hot with curry or sambol.
