Ingredients

  • 3 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 pound Ground pork
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 0 tablespoons Oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 cup Scallions

Instructions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. 2Add flour and vegetable oil to the yeast mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
  3. 3In a separate bowl, combine ground pork, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and scallions. Mix well.
  4. 4Punch down the dough and divide into 6 equal portions. Roll each portion into a circle.
  5. 5Place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each circle. Gather the edges and pinch to seal.
  6. 6Place the buns on parchment paper-lined steamer baskets. Steam for 15-20 minutes.
  7. 7Serve hot.
