Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs White fish fillets (cod, sea bass, or snapper)
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger (thinly sliced)
  • 1/4 cup Scallions (thinly sliced, white and green parts)
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce (wheat-free tamari)
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon Rice wine vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1Place fish fillets on a heatproof plate or steamer basket.
  2. 2Top with ginger slices and half of the scallions.
  3. 3Place the plate or basket in a steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam for 8-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. 4While the fish is steaming, heat vegetable oil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  5. 5Carefully pour the hot oil over the steamed fish.
  6. 6Drizzle with tamari, sesame oil, and rice wine vinegar.
  7. 7Garnish with the remaining scallions and serve immediately.
