Ingredients

  • 1 pound Salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Tamari
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2Cut the 1 pound of Salmon fillets into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch pieces.
  3. 3In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1/4 cup Maple syrup, 2 tablespoons Tamari, 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder, and 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper until well combined.
  4. 4Add the salmon cubes to the maple mixture and gently toss to coat all the pieces. Let the salmon marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
  5. 5Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the marinated salmon cubes in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they do not touch.
  6. 6Bake for 15-20 minutes. The salmon is ready when it is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, and the glaze has become sticky and slightly caramelized. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  7. 7Serve the Spicy Maple Candied Salmon Bites warm.
