Ingredients

  • 1 block Extra-firm tofu
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 medium Onion
  • 1/2 medium Bell pepper
  • 1 cup Mushrooms
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 stalks Green onion

Instructions

  1. 1Press the tofu to remove excess water, then crumble into small pieces.
  2. 2Chop the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms. Mince the garlic.
  3. 3Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. 4Add the onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5Add the garlic and cook for another minute, until fragrant.
  6. 6Add the crumbled tofu, gochujang, and soy sauce and mix well to combine.
  7. 7Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tofu is heated through and slightly browned.
  8. 8Stir in the sesame oil and garnish with sliced green onion before serving.
