Ingredients

  • 1 pound Frozen Edamame
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Honey

Instructions

  1. 1Place 1 pound of frozen edamame in a pot with enough water to cover. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the edamame is tender when pierced with a fork.
  2. 2While the edamame is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, 2 cloves of minced garlic, 1 teaspoon of grated ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, and 1 teaspoon of honey. Whisk everything together until well combined.
  3. 3Once the edamame is cooked, carefully drain all the water from the pot.
  4. 4Add the prepared sauce to the pot with the drained edamame. Toss gently to coat the edamame evenly with the sauce.
  5. 5Serve the spicy edamame warm.
