Ingredients

  • 2 cups Potatoes, boiled and cubed
  • 1.5 cups Chickpeas, boiled
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon Amchoor (dry mango powder)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. 2Add onion and sauté until golden brown.
  3. 3Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  4. 4Add tomato and cook until softened.
  5. 5Add turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Sauté for a minute.
  6. 6Add potatoes, chickpeas, and salt. Mix well.
  7. 7Add water to adjust consistency, if needed.
  8. 8Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  9. 9Add garam masala and amchoor. Mix well.
  10. 10Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice.
