Ingredients

  • 2 medium Sweet potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp Salt
  • 0.1 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.25 cup Tahini
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into 1/4-inch thick fries.
  3. 3In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, cinnamon, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  4. 4Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. 5Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and slightly browned.
  6. 6While the fries are baking, prepare the dip: In a small bowl, whisk together tahini, maple syrup, and lemon juice.
  7. 7Gradually whisk in water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dip reaches your desired consistency. It should be smooth and pourable.
  8. 8Serve the warm sweet potato fries with the maple-tahini dip.
