Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp
  • 1 bunch Water spinach (kangkong)
  • 6 pieces Radishes
  • 1 piece Eggplant
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind powder
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 pieces Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Green beans
  • 8 cups Water

Instructions

  1. 1In a large pot, combine water, onion, and tomatoes. Bring to a boil.
  2. 2Add tamarind powder and fish sauce. Stir well to dissolve.
  3. 3Add eggplant and radishes. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. 4Add shrimp and green beans. Cook for 5 minutes, or until shrimp turns pink.
  5. 5Stir in water spinach and cook for another 2 minutes, or until wilted.
  6. 6Serve hot.
