Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Chicken Breast
  • 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the 1.5 pounds of chicken breast into bite-sized cubes, about 1-inch in size.
  2. 2In a medium bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup of plain yogurt, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 3 minced cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper until well combined.
  3. 3Add the cut chicken to the marinade and toss gently to ensure all pieces are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the chicken to marinate.
  4. 4Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.
  5. 5Preheat your grill to medium heat, which is approximately 350-400°F (175-200°C).
  6. 6Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 10-15 minutes, turning them occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The chicken should be opaque and firm to the touch.
