Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Chicken breast
  • 1/2 cup Plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Lemon juice
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the 1.5 lbs of chicken breast into 1-inch cubes.
  2. 2In a bowl, whisk together the 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 4 cloves of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper until well combined.
  3. 3Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss them to ensure each piece is fully coated. Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the chicken to marinate.
  4. 4Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, which is approximately 400-450°F (200-230°C).
  5. 5Thread the marinated chicken cubes evenly onto skewers, leaving a small space between each cube.
  6. 6Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Grill for 10-12 minutes, turning them occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has a light char. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  7. 7Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving hot.
