Ingredients

  • 1 lb Fresh Sardines
  • 1 tablespoon Sea Salt
  • 1 lemon Lemon Wedges

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, which is about 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2Gently rinse the 1 lb of fresh sardines under cool water. Pat them completely dry with paper towels. Sprinkle them generously all over with the 1 tablespoon of sea salt.
  3. 3Place the salted sardines on the preheated grill. Grill for 3 to 5 minutes per side. The sardines are done when they are opaque all the way through and have light char marks, and the flesh flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  4. 4Remove the grilled sardines from the grill and arrange them on a serving plate. Serve immediately with the 1 lemon, cut into wedges, for squeezing over the fish.
