Sandes de Bifana (Pork Sandwich)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Pork Loin
  • 6 cloves Garlic
  • 0.5 cup White Wine
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 leaves Bay Leaf
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp White Pepper
  • 0.75 tsp Salt
  • 4 each Crusty Rolls
  • 2 tbsp Mustard

Instructions

  1. 1Thinly slice the pork loin. Mince the garlic.
  2. 2In a bowl, combine the garlic, white wine, olive oil, bay leaf, paprika, white pepper, and salt. Add the pork slices and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight) in the refrigerator.
  3. 3Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly browned.
  4. 4Slice the crusty rolls in half. Add pork to roll.
  5. 5Spread mustard on the rolls, if desired. Serve immediately.
