Ingredients

  • 4 slices Provolone Cheese (thick slices)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • 0.25 tsp Red Chili Flakes

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat your grill to medium heat, which is about 350-400°F (175-200°C).
  2. 2Place the 4 thick slices of Provolone Cheese on a clean surface. Brush both sides of each slice with the 2 tbsp of Olive Oil.
  3. 3Evenly sprinkle the oiled cheese slices with the 1 tsp of Dried Oregano and the 0.25 tsp of Red Chili Flakes.
  4. 4Carefully place the seasoned cheese slices directly onto the preheated grill grates.
  5. 5Grill the cheese for 3 to 5 minutes on the first side. Look for the cheese to become bubbly and start to melt, and for grill marks to appear. Flip the cheese slices carefully and grill for another 3 to 5 minutes on the second side, until equally bubbly and melted.
  6. 6Remove the grilled provolone cheese from the grill and serve immediately.
